GT Expo

In light of the recent memo regarding the First Annual Gifted/Talented Expo it seems like TPSP is going to be a product option that many teachers may plan to explore. Because the Expo is in May, if teachers make the choice to use the Texas Performance Standards Project, a timeline that is more streamlined may need to be implemented. When you look at Phase II activities, is it possible to go straight there will an abbreviated stay in Phase I? While it might not be the same experience, it is certainly "doable". An added bonus would be that any experience you gain this year with the task will serve you well as you work through it next year. It almost has a Stephen Covey ring to it all, begin with the end in mind, similar to the Grant Wiggins ideals of backward design.

Where are you finding the best place to fit these experiences in? Are you seeing students in your class responding to the activities?
